Current Sponsors

Flying Arrow is our local archery shop located in Carmel, NY. They have not only supplied us with sponsorship money but have helped us prepare in many ways for the Campbell Outdoor Challenge. Practicing on their virtual targeting range and getting sited in are just some of the services they provide. The customer service at Flying Arrow is top notch; they are not only knowledgeable but also patient and willing to help you until your needs are met. They equip their store with top name brands and the best bows on the market (Matthews, Bowtec and Hoyt). Thanks Mike and Tommy for sending ABOA on its way to the Campbell Outdoor Challenge.

Skip Enterprises: If you are serious about videotaping your hunts, this is the camera arm for you. We met Skip at the Harrisonburg show while searching for a good camera arm. We tried many camera arms and decided on his because it was the easiest, quietest and most precise. It also was the steadiest and strongest camera arm. These are all-important qualities to have while filming your hunts. Skip also offers other hunting products on his website. Skip was an awesome contact for ABOA. We feel that Skip has cornered the market with this tree arm and highly recommend it. Thanks Skip for sponsoring us the camera arm. (We love it!!!)

Bad to the Bone is a skull cleaning business started by Team American Bowhunters. The skulls are cleaned by dermestid beetles and set in a high potency peroxide to lighten the skulls to museum quality. Each skull is tagged and carefully handled and monitored throughout the process to provide the best results. Click the logo to see some sample skulls and a price list.

When I bought my first Scent Blocker clothes the concept of the carbon lining was new and some people thought it was a gimmick. But I was convinced it wasn't when my first doe came walking down wind of me and I was able to take her. It convinced me this product was second to none. We feel Scent Blocker is a must out in the field.

Quality Archery Design makes an awesome drop-away rest that has many excellent features. One feature allows some forward movement without the rest dropping. ABOA highly recommends these rests. We want to thank QAD for their quick response in sponsorship and providing our team with their new HD drop-away rest for the Campbell Challenge. QAD also sells nocks and sneaky-leaf wear, check out their website.

Expandable broadheads like the Innerloc EXP® with its revolutionary Cliploc™ design, or the Stainless Extreme™ with the renowned "Center Locking System™", are the most accurate, most reliable broadhead you can buy. Sullivan Industries is committed to quality, and having manufactured broadheads since 1987 (for other companies as well as themselves), they've gotten pretty darn good at it. Their products are made from only the best materials and feature patented technologies only found with Innerloc®. These solid designs allow them to supply bowhunters with archery products they can trust. Whether you shoot a mechanical or replacement blade model, they have the most innovative designs in the industry. We have field-tested them shooting them into a concrete block and half inch plywood; both the mechanical and fixed blades held up through both. We are happy to be sponsored by them various mediums and are looking forward to using them on our hunting trips and our bowfishing.

Preparing for the Campbell Outdoor Challenges can be hard work and it is not uncommon to forget a few things. That's when you know who the good guys are. Jeff and Cyndi at AMS Bowfishing helped us out several times at the Campbell Bowfishing Tournament. They supplied us with reels, hats, shirts and a last minute push-pull. Their service is top notch as well as their equipment. AMS has all the bowfishing products for the serous bowfisherman. Thanks Jeff and Cyndi for all your help.

We met Paul Frugé, owner of Pro Hood, a couple years back at the Harrisburg Hunting Fishing Expo. He sold us a great Pro Hood sweatshirt with a mask and hood all in one. Paul has now added the nano-silver technology to his clothing for maximum scent control. What's great about Paul's clothing is its versatility: in the warmer weather you can just wear the suit and be comfortable and in the cold weather you can wear it as a base layer to maximise your scent control. This is what American Bowhunters likes about this product.

We are really excited about finding this new company, New Dawn Outdoors. Their product line is awesome. We are using their Vortxx quivers which come in 6, 5 and 4 arrow holders. This quiver comes with a hard cover which protects your arrows. So when you are finished hunting just slide the cover on, it's perfect for traveling. They also have a large variety of other holders for all your hunting needs. Some examples are: tree-stand rail mounts for bow, gun, quiver and even a therma-cell. We are really excited by being sponsored by Ken and Judy. They have unique products that are very handy for the everyday hunter at an affordable rate.

Our favorite knives, these stainless steel knives hold their sharp edges for a long time. Outdoor Edge knives are strong and sturdy and the handles have a non-slip grip: great for boning and filleting or any other thing that may get your hands messy. They can come in different packs; one of our favorites is the Kodi-pac. It has a skinner, a caper and a saw. We highly recommend this pac to all hunters. We use these out in the field all the time. Check out their product line on their website.

We had just gotten our boat back and it was only two weeks before the Campbell's Bowfishing Tournament. We needed to find a welder who could weld aluminum, be flexible to work with us on our design and do it fast. We called K & L Fabricating Inc., located in Putnam County off Route 6. Larry was the man for the job, he took the time to listen to our ideas and then explained to us in detail how it should be done, keeping safety as the number one priority. His sense of design was impressive and he was able to create a safe and strong version of what we wanted. He worked day and night so he could meet our deadline and at the end of each day he updated us on the progress. Larry went the extra mile for us, he was awesome to work with. But what really makes him a team player is that he let us work on the boat at the same time. Kurt and Kenny were wiring lights up, Laura was touching up paint and logos were being put on, and all the while Larry was welding, grinding or polishing. It was amazing how the boat came together in no time. There are not many guys like Larry who would put the time and energy into a project like this, Larry is one of a kind. Our boat will be going back to him in the winter for some additional work. We can't thank Larry enough.

Watching a lighted nock fly on the end of your arrow and hit its target is an awesome experience. You can use lumenoks whether you are hunting or bowfishing. We shoot a lot of video and these tips make it easy to follow the arrow flight; also, if it's a pass through shot it is easier to recover your arrow. Lumenok makes lightweight nocks to fit most arrows. They're totally cool—check them out.

What a fun thing to have for turkey hunting. The Jake Intimidator pops up when you pull the string to get the attention of a distant bird, bringing him in closer. The Jake looks great—and what a reaction you get from the turkeys! Great idea, great product.

Summit blinds are the best: lightweight and easy to open. There have been many times Kurt can't come out and I have not been able to go out alone or with my son or girlfriend because it was too difficult for me to put our blind up. Now I can—Hurray! Thanks Summit.

Vision X is on the leading edge of LED technologies; from flexible under car kits, to versatile-submersible pods, and extreme Xmitter light bars. And the brand new Solstice Series 10 Watt LED lights. To be able to avoid using a noisy generator to power your lights is huge: no generator means the sound is crisp and you can hear the ambient noises; the splash of the fish, the snap of the bow when an arrow is released. This adds more realism to the video. We now can optimize where we can go not having to use the noisy generator. The video picture is magnificent because the lights emit a pure white light which gives you a clear picture at night. Vision X has helped us advance in the bowfishing realm.

DECKadence Marine Flooring (DMF) is a revolutionary stylish marine flooring and protective deck cover. It is the perfect choice for boating enthusiasts looking for a deck covering that's durable, looks great and is easy to maintain. DMF is manufactured from the most practical marine flooring material in existence today. It is the right combination of PVC, Resin and Aerated Rubber designed to deliver comfort and durability to boaters. It can be installed on any vessel, Fiberglass, Steel, Aluminum or Wood. The combination of the DMF's cushioning properties along with its non-skid attributes, provide the safest of surfaces to walk on. DMF will also help silence above deck noise, quiet engine sound levels and insulate the below deck area from the intense heat of the sun, providing a more user friendly environment. Bowfishing is an intense sport that requires a boat floor to be comfortable for all the long hours we are standing and fishing. The floor also needs to be able to stand a thrashing 30 lb fish with an arrow in him and skid proof so when that when we bring him on board we can hold onto him and not slide on the water and fish slime. Team American Bowhunters stands by DMF floor: it is comfortable, durable and cleans up nicely.
